When interested in buying a house, it is highly recommended to have the object inspected structurally. Not everything is what it looks like. When a major expense such as buying a house is at stake, it’s better to be safe than sorry. A Basic purchase inspection gives you certainty about the structural state of the building. This means no surprises after purchase.
In the report of the Basic purchase inspection all visually perceptible structural elements are described and structural defects are stated. Furthermore, a quality assessment is given to these structural elements. This report does not include advice on repairs/renovations and the related costs/charges; for this, we have the Comprehensive home purchase inspection. Nevertheless, the Basic purchase inspection is a good basis for insight in the structural state of the house.
